Gaiaonline commission for Defiled Lullabye. :\

First time drawing clouds. They're FUN! Amazingly so. Still need to experiment with it and whot.
Done completely in blues and oranges, I'm so proud.
I'm still not entirely satisfied with the clothing, but I dunno how to fix it.

i really envy the way you render your work specially with the hair. can you share some thoughts on how you tackle it:D

Thank you! The hair was one of the funnest parts of the pictures to draw. :D

It's fairly simple, put an opaque basecolour, and brush on lighter and darker shades like mad on low opacity and flow with a thin brush. I think the settings were 10% op, 15% flow for the most part, except the darkest areas, if you want me to be specific.
I cheated alot with smudging. >_>

hehehe.:) umm. tanx!!!:) after what you shared, the very thing i am wondering is "you did put a very extra effort" on rendering on each strand of the hair. its a possession of deligence i may never have. hehehe...Ü youre great, maybe im just lazy enough for a detailed artwork.:) thanx for the share of thoughts.:D
